Greg Thomajan, owner of Zarehs men’s clothing store isn’t making any fashion statements by putting a 40-year old suit in his Liberty Square store’s window. The proud ex-Marine is simply honoring today’s anniversary of the founding of the Marine Corps by displaying the dress uniform he wore in the Marine Corps in the late 1950s. For the past four years at this time Thomajan has put together an increasingly elaborate display, which now includes the uniform, the Marine Corps flag, and a newspaper from the day Ted Williams was inducted into the Corps. “If you’re an ex-Marine it’s a very big deal,” Thomajan said.
